Because of the predicted hot temperatures over the next few days, students may wear their gym uniforms tomorrow, Tuesday and Thursday. Only gym uniforms will be allowed. NO NUT CARDS ALLOWED. A phone call home will be made to anyone inappropriately dressed. Friday - for our Closing School Mass , students are to come dressed appropriately for Church. --- no shorts, no jeans, and no nut cards. Boys are to wear a golf shirt or a button down shirt and girls are to wear dresses or a skirt. Thank you for complying with this directive!

The SAS Student Council Hot Chocolate fundraiser was very successful! The students mixed, made, poured and served many, many cups of Hot Chocolate throughout all three lunch periods to lots of happy "customers" and now have a sizable donation to make to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. What a great way to begin the Easter Holiday by giving of ourselves to others. HAPPY EASTER

The SAS Student Council is holding a Fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. They will be selling Hot Chocolate during all 3 Lunch Periods next Thursday, March 21. The Student Council members are from the Junior High-grades 6, 7, & 8th. The Council so enjoyed donating to the Make-A-Wish Foundation during Christmas, they wanted to run another benefit for the Foundation in the Spring! What an amazing example of charity and giving during this time of Lent. Let's help them succeed by buying a cup of Hot Chocolate next Thursday!

The Annual Calendar Fundraiser begins today, February 1st and runs through to the end of March. Tickets are a $20 donation each. Every day, for the months of February and March, a ticket is pulled and the prize is the cash amount listed in that days box on the Calendar. $50 a day plus 5 days with a $100 prize, 2 days with $300 prize, and one day with $500!! Families were mailed home 5 tickets and are asked to fill them out and send in a check for $100. Your ticket is used again and again throughout the drawings in Feb & March!! So many chances to win! Please read the linked letter from Sr. Mary Elizabeth regarding SAFETY issues for Drop Off and Pick Up at St. Augustine School. She is asking for everyone's cooperation for renewed diligence on everyone's part to keep our children safe during these busy times. As you might know we dismiss over 400 students at once to a car or bus in the afternoon, and it can be quite hectic.
