Monday, Feb 21, 2022 SAS will be closed in observance of President’s Day. Tuesday thru Friday, Feb 22 – 25th we are open. We are aware of 3 districts that are NOT providing Bus Transportation on those days: Peekskill, Croton and Hendrick Hudson, which means parents will have to make arrangements to drive students to school those days. We strongly encourage families to carpool to alleviate the traffic at both morning drop-off and afternoon dismissal. Everyone should allow a little extra time to compensate for the delays, and a little extra patience and understanding towards everyone this week!

Monday, Feb. 21, 2022, school will be CLOSED in observance of President's Day. Please remember that this Friday, Feb. 17, the phone service at SAS is being updated. The intent is to begin preliminary work on wiring etc, so the phones should be in service until approx. 2-2:30, at the end of the school day. However, if you can't get through, and it is an EXTREME EMERGENCY, you may email Ms. Leone. Thank you and have a great weekend!!

February 9, 2022 Dear Catholic School Communities, As you are likely aware, Governor Kathy Hochul today stated that the school mask mandate remains in effect and will be reassessed in early March. Since Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of New York are legally obligated to follow this mandate, we must continue to do so. As soon as the Governor lifts the mask mandate for schools, we will follow those new directives. We are keenly aware of our parents’ concerns, frustrations, and disappointments surrounding this issue. We have and will continue to advocate on behalf of our Catholic school communities with the Governor and state health officials. The Office of the Superintendent of Schools

CSW 2022--One of our many activities was a door decorating contest. The classes designed a door that would represent the CSW2022 themes of Faith, Excellence and Service. For Grades K, 1 & 2---The winner is K - 2 Ms. Manwaring. For grades 3, 4 & 5 the winner is Gr 3 Ms. Molinari. For Grades 6, 7 & 8 the winner is Gr 7 Mrs. Jarl. Special Mention Nurse Hirsch for her amazing Safety First Door!! Each class who won will have an Ice Cream Sundae Party on Feb 18th....Congratulations!!
