Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers will sponsor an online art exhibit featuring works created by the students in the National Junior Art Honor Society of St. Augustine’s School located in Ossining, NY. The St. Augustine School’s chapter of the National Junior Art Honor Society dedicated their artwork to Our Lady, the Virgin Mary. The exhibit was originally scheduled to be displayed at the Maryknoll Society Center in May of this year. Due to the restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic, the event had to be cancelled; however, “Maryknoll’s Community Outreach Team was determined to find a way to support these young artists which, in kind, supports the community,” Click for link to Maryknoll.
Dear Parents, As we move into the colder weather, we are noticing that by taking student temperatures outside we are getting inaccurate readings. So effective immediately, we ask that you pull up to the front of the school, students disembark from your vehicle , enter the Lobby where we will take student temperatures INSIDE. We ask that you wait for a “Thumbs up” indicating normal temperature and then you may drive away. As always thank you for your assistance and patience! Sr Mary Elizabeth Donoghue, O.P.

Please read the letter from the Superintendent of Schools regarding new DAILY checklist for entrance to school. Click to go to letter and copy of the checklist. Please read the letter from Superintendent Deegan re diligently following the proper health and safety protocols. This applies to after school activities, in groups, on weekends, and so on. We must keep our vigilance up, to stay open!! As he so clearly states: "We are sending this email as a stark reminder COVID protocols do not end at the end of the school day and or take the weekends off!" We do not want to have to close the school---staying safe means staying open! Thank you for your cooperation.
