Fr. McSweeney recommends the following article published in Aleteia on family prayer.
It contains suggestions on how we can be a little more consistent in our family prayer practice, especially with young children.
"...Praying with our children is an important part of living out our vocation to be “the first heralds of the faith” (CCC 1656) to our children.
But in the hustle and bustle of everyday, the appointments and chores and drop-offs and endless demands, it can be hard to carve out time and space to gather as a family in prayer. Here are some ways you can make prayer a priority for your family, even with rambunctious little ones running around...."

Our school students this year were learning the tradition of praying the Angelus at Noon. Traditionally the Angelus would be prayed three times a day: 6:00 am, 12:00 Noon and 6:00 pm.
During the Easter Season, the Regina Coeli is prayed in its place. So while we have some time at home together, perhaps we can learn to pray the Regina Coeli and revive an ancient tradition!
Easter Season runs from Holy Saturday until Pentecost Sunday, which is May 31, 2020..
The Regina Coeli:
Queen of Heaven, rejoice. Alleluia.
For He, whom thou wast worthy to bear. Alleluia.
Has risen as He said. Alleluia.
Pray for us to God. Alleluia.
V. Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary. Alleluia.
R. Because the Lord is truly risen, Alleluia.
Let us pray
O God, Who by the Resurrection of Thy Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, hast been pleased to give joy to the whole world, grant we beseech Thee, that through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, His Mother, we may attain the joys of eternal life. Through the same Christ, our Lord. Amen.
